Please respond to the following questions in narrative form. Include a one-page, single-spaced summary of this proposal. This one-pager can also serve as an information sheet you can pass out to community members, potential funders, etc.
Describe your community project. Include assets and needs. Describe how you will utilize technology to implement your project.
Provide a general description of your group members. What is their role, and how are they participating in developing this proposal? Present a profile of 2-3 members.
What obstacles may arise as you implement your project plans? What are possible solutions and how will you overcome them?
Describe how will you assess and evaluate your work.
Describe where grant monies will be kept and who will manage the funds.
How can the grants committee, other community teams, or CSOs help to implement your plan?
Present a detailed budget far the funds your group is requesting (up to $15,000). Remember only 1/3 of the budget may be used/or equipment. Please itemize equipment, supplies, and operational expenses.
How will your project address the application of electronic communications and information systems/or the benefit of the community?
Please have a working draft prepared for the January 9;il workshop at the Echo Hotel in Edinburg. We hope to leave the workshop with final drafts to be forwarded to the grants committee.
