DIVERSITY AWARENESS
To promote the message of diversity awareness in an entertaining way, this team collaborated with the Trustees of Conneaut Lake Park, The Conneaut Lake Institute, Lakeland Historical Society and Smiles/Americorps to produce the Keystone Heritage Festival.
Partnerships
On August 12 and 13, 2000, this festival celebrated the cultural and ethnic diversity of Northwestern Pennsylvania with music, historical society exhibits, dance and art.
The team considered the festival to be a success with more than 10,000 people in attendance.
The festival is not an annual event and the Diversity Awareness MIRA team no longer meets.
