GLOUSTER

The Glouster team fell apart as students graduated, people moved out of the area and team members lost interest. Ron Ash, the Glouster team leader, reports that the computers have been purchased and are operational at the Glouster library. Two computer classes have been conducted for elderly community members.

Partnerships

A building is soon to be rented for the computer resource lab, and Ron is waiting for access to a T1 line to hook the computers up to the Internet. With no one from the original team still interested in the program, Ron's main concern is how to keep the momentum going when he retires in a few months.

Leadership

Ron Ash's "top-down" leadership style may have contributed to the failure of this project.

Team members could have lost interest in the project because Ron delegated very few responsibilities and tasks.

Now that Ron Ash is the only remaining Glouster team member, the project may remain unfinished when he retires.
