When you’re done you’ll save a new version of the photo, preserving the original. Your new image can be saved to your computer, or shared directly on a dozen different sites like Facebook.
The free version gives you all the basic editing tools you need. Registering gives you more tools, and paying for Premium access unlocks the whole box.
